Restaurant quality recipes, made for everyday life. My name is Evan Fitzmaurice, I’ve been a Chef for more than a decade and want to share some of the things I’ve learned to take home cooking up a notch.

My Culinary Journey:

At the age of 16 in 2012 I began working in Miss Marples Tea Rooms in Limerick, as a kitchen assistant dealing with prep work. From there I worked my way up the ladder until I became the Sous Chef. While at Miss Marples I developed a keen interest in pastry, and got to experience working in a busy, quality driven, award winning kitchen. Unfortunately in March 2023 Miss Marples Tea Rooms came to a close, and it was at this time I began working at various Four Star Hotels, as well as High End Restaurants. Working in such high end establishments and with such incredibly skilled Chefs was extremely educational, and seeing the intensity with which a Fine Dining restaurant operates is an experience that I will always be grateful for.
